About Me

Nicole Eatough Author Picture

I’m one of those authors who knew they wanted to write stories for a living from about eight years old. Fantasy worlds and the characters that inhabit them enchanted me and the slightest idea has always had my mind spiraling off into how I could make a story out of it.

After college, I decided to finally get serious about writing now that I no longer had homework (so I essentially gave myself homework to write and learn how to write).

I then spent nearly a decade writing six books (none of which are published), reading craft books about writing, attending conferences, and working with both an editor and a book coach. After all that, I finally felt like my skills were up to putting together something worthy of publishing and wrote The Glittering Gems, the first book in The Genie Whisperer series.

I write the same type of stories I loved growing up, fantasy, because the supernatural just makes life more exciting, and romance, because adding in a love story keeps things fun. I hope you enjoy my stories!

On a more personal note . . .

I’m married to my writing for now and being single allows me to have the honored title of being the fun aunt for my nieces and nephews. It’s a role I relish along with being mom to three fur babies. No my matter how old I get, there’s always a little voice in me excitedly yelling, “Kitty!” whenever I see a cat. It keeps me young.

Meet my cats!

No, three cats does not make me a cat lady . . . just a cat fanatic.
